Worship

Sunday

We meet for worship on at 10.30am and Prayer at 6.30pm.

We celebrate communion on the  3rd Sunday morning of each month and invite all those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour to share in communion with us.

We use Songs of Fellowship and enjoy a blend of traditional and modern music, accompanied by a small music group. We use a digital projector but printed words (including large print versions) are available for those who prefer this. Our pew Bible is the New International Version

The children usually join us for the first 15 minutes after which they go to either  Sunday Club or Lasers. From time to time  we all stay together for a family service. We have a crèche corner for pre-school children.

Tea and coffee are served after the service.

WOW

Worship on Wednesday or WOW is an informal midweek meeting for worship, prayer and Bible Study. We have a different focus each week. Occasionally we use this time for a social evening to enjoy fellowship together in a relaxed atmosphere. We meet at 7.45 for 8.00pm

Open to God

We believe that prayer is the essential foundation to everything we do as a Church. On Thursdays the Church is open for quiet prayer and reflection between 10.00am and 1.00pm. You can come when you want and stay for as long as you want. You can light a candle, write a burden on a stone and leave at at the foot of the cross. There is just quiet music playing. The final hour is for intercessory prayer, so let us know if you want someone to pray with or for you.

Spiritual Development

Our vision is for

  • Worship which unites us in prayer and praise to God and prepares our souls for the seed of the Word and encourages openness to the Holy Spirit;
  • A church which is tolerant of a range of styles of worship and is open to innovation;
  • A church which offers training, opportunity and encouragement to use spiritual gifts in order to build up the body of Christ;
  • A fellowship where differences of view are discussed openly and where there is no place for destructive criticism in either public or private;
  • A church which strives to "present every man mature in Christ" by providing opportunities for collective prayer, bible study and Christian service.
