"To know Jesus and to make Him known"
What's happening this Christmas at apbc?
Christmas is a time for celebration, but it's also a time when so many of us feel the loss of our loved one's even more poignantly. Come along to our 'Lights of Love' Service where you can remember those that are no longer with us. We will sing a few Carols and light candles to celebrate the warmth of the love we still share. It’s a gentle and very special way to commemorate their life and your being there will be a comfort to the many other local families who are missing their loved ones this Christmas.
Your children haven't been to a Messy Church yet?? There is really nothing like it - Creative and fun filled, Messy Church is an afternoon packed with craft opportunities, games, carols, sweets and a hot meal (and best of all - you don't have to cook and you leave the mess behind!) - another great reason to be there. Everyone will receive a Christingle orange and refreshments afterwards.
Everything that is the best of the Christmas Season all rolled into one. Carols uplifting songs, inspiring readings, with hot seasonal snacks and mulled drinks to get you into the seasonal spirit, all in a wonderful candlelit atmosphere.
Welcome the Prince of Peace in a moment of peace. A Candlelit Communion service of reflective calm and quiet joy to celebrate the 'Reason for the Season' in the midst of our Community. Carols start at 11.30pm and the Communion at Midnight.
Christmas is all about being thankful for God’s precious Gift to us. So, with the turkey in the oven, bring the whole family, your nearest and dearest , (and some of your presents) to celebrate the source of our Peace and Joy. No Jumper is too terrible - we don’t judge!
If so, please tell them that they are warmly invited for Christmas Lunch, completely free of charge.
